Crypto Stream

a digital service that incentivizes and rewards live streamers with cryptocurrency

Problem

CryptoStream launched as a Web3 gaming platform but struggled to gain traction. The onboarding felt complicated, trust in the platform was low, and players quickly lost interest. With Web3 gaming still unfamiliar to many, the challenge was finding a way to grow a loyal user base while staying profitable.

Opportunity

The global eSports market is expected to surpass $5 billion by 2025.

By integrating cryptocurrency rewards into live gaming streams, CryptoStream saw an opportunity to stand out—turning payments into powerful incentives that could attract new players and keep them engaged.

Crypto Stream is a platform that builds a bridge between the esports and crypto world. This live streaming mobile application gives gamers the ability to make money through its cryptocurrency, CS token.

Esports with competitive gaming is a highly lucrative industry worth nearly $1 billion dollars. The client wanted to target the gamer audience since there is no mature video game live streaming application available that incorporates cryptocurrency features for this market.

Solution

I talked to gamers, built user personas, and mapped the journey from signup to gameplay. Then I:

Simplified wallet setup.

Improved onboarding flows.

Made the platform feel more secure and welcoming.

Key Questions:

Would viewers of live streams use this app to tip gamers?

Would viewers want to tip in crypto?

Would gamers want to receive crypto?

Would viewers and gamers want to use a relatively new token, ie. CS?
